Project Management

Project Management

Welcome to New-Sense Geophysics, where our commitment to delivering high-quality airborne survey data meets an organized and meticulous Project Life Cycle 5 Phase approach. Our project management methodology is designed to ensure precision, safety, and client satisfaction throughout every stage of the project.

Our Project Life Cycle 5 Phase Approach:

  1. Project Initiation Phase: The journey begins with our experienced project manager defining the project at a high level. We kick off with a thorough examination of client requirements, typically involving a request for proposals and feasibility studies. Extensive research, including cost analysis, helps determine the necessary resources and costs, leading to the preparation of a comprehensive proposal.
  2. Project Planning Phase: Once the proposal is approved, the Project Planning Phase unfolds. Our team sets SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely) to guide the project. A detailed project plan is created, defining the scope and critical resource costs. Milestones, communication strategies, risk management plans, and a work breakdown structure are laid out and documented.
  3. Project Executing Phase: Execution is where the project takes flight. Mobilization and startup phases are carefully managed, with a keen focus on adhering to the safety management plan. As survey production begins, key performance indicators are analyzed through our project dashboard, ensuring effective client communication, safety adherence, and continuous progress tracking.
  4. Project Monitoring and Controlling Phase: Vigilance is maintained in the Monitoring and Controlling Phase. Utilizing the project tools set up, we ensure strict adherence to the survey plan. Regular sharing of information and data enables clients to evaluate preliminary products, fostering a collaborative environment that allows for potential project changes or additions in a safe and effective manner.
  5. Project Closing Phase: Closure is not just the end; it’s the culmination of a successful project. The Project Closing Phase involves completing deliverables to the satisfaction of the client. The project manager takes on the responsibility of disassembling the apparatus created for the project, closing out work with contractors, ensuring payments, and archiving all project documents for future planning.

Post-Production and Continuous Improvement: Following project closure, the project manager conducts a post-production review with the project team. This reflective session highlights successes and areas for improvement, ensuring that best practices are repeated, and mistakes are avoided in future projects.

At New-Sense Geophysics, we take pride in our Project Life Cycle 5 Phase Approach—a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering excellence, safety, and client satisfaction in every airborne survey project.
