Our QA/QC Methodology:

  1. Defect Prevention with QA: Quality Assurance (QA) at New-Sense is all about defect prevention. We emphasize the implementation of criteria, methods, and processes before and during data acquisition to ensure that the produced data meet specific quality standards. Our QA methodology is embedded in every aspect of the project, from planning to execution.
  2. Defect Detection with QC: Quality Control (QC) comes into play after data acquisition. It involves the application of methods or processes to determine whether the data meet overall quality goals and defined criteria for individual values. Rapid data scanning methods are employed to tag records that meet or fail to meet specific criteria, ensuring a thorough examination of the dataset.
  3. Quality Assurance Plan (QAP): A robust Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) serves as our guide, defining criteria and processes that ensure and verify data meet specific quality objectives. By preventing the creation of defective data, we lay the foundation for the ultimate quality of our data products and the research that depends on them.
  4. Transparent Approach and Dashboard: New-Sense Geophysics adopts a transparent approach to QA/QC, providing a dashboard that facilitates efficient and effective monitoring. This dashboard empowers our staff and client QA/QC personnel, offering real-time insights into project progress, data quality, and adherence to established criteria.
