Argentina

Argentina is a vast and diverse country located in the southern part of South America. Its topography is characterized by a variety of landscapes, ranging from the Andes Mountains in the west to the expansive Pampas in the center and the diverse regions in the north and south. With an elevation range that varies from sea level to ~6600 meters above sea level.

Flying in Argentina presents challenges and opportunities due to its diverse landscape. When flying here, pilots need to consider factors such as the Andes Mountains, the Pampas, Patagonia, and various weather patterns. During the use of helicopters in Argentina, pilots must be well-versed in mountain flying techniques, have a thorough understanding of local weather patterns, and be prepared for the challenges posed by the diverse geography.

New-Sense Geophysics specializes in high altitude airborne geophysics surveys, our helicopter and fixed-wing operators are typically trained on site and rigorously follow international aviation standards and regulations. Pilots are trained to handle the specific challenges associated with flying in a diverse and dynamic environment.

Given the logistical challenges inherent in Argentina, New-Sense Geophysics maintains equipment for both helicopter and fixed wing systems. New-Sense has local JV partners in the country to aid with operational complexities of the Argentina regulatory environment.

More than 70,000 line  kilometers have been collected here by New-Sense Geophysics since 2006.
